Impresario, artists manager, violinist, founder of Liu Kotow International Management & Promotion after 20 years of concert career. As an artistic manager, apart from working with worldrenowned artists, he is passionate about building careers of new generation talents, such as violinist Bomsori Kim or pianist Bruce Liu.
Before becoming an artistic manager, as a founding member of the Szymanowski Quartet, Grzegorz Kotow regularly performed in prestigious con cert halls of the world – New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Philharmonie de Paris and regularly appeared at international festivals, such as BBC Proms, Rheingau, SchleswigHolstein, Schwetzingen, Schubertiade, Lockenhaus. He has won the highest prizes at many music competitions, incl. in Melbourne, Osaka, Florence, Munich and Weimar, and has recorded for Decca, Hyperion, Haenssler, SWR Classics and Avie.
He was a lecturer at Hochschule für Musik, Medien und Theater Hannover. He is regularly invited to guest lectures and is a juror at international music competitions. In 2006 he was awarded the Medal of Merit for Polish Culture.
