Has appeared as soloist with such orchestras as The Juilliard Orchestra, Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, Harvard­-Radcliffe Orchestra, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, among others, and performed as recitalist and chamber musician in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He is director of Listen Hear, a new salon concert series in Sarasota, Florida. Currently a doctoral fellow at Juilliard researching the five versions of Ernest Chausson’s Poème–including an arrangement for violin, piano, and organ by Eugène Ysaÿe, Max’s mentors include Catherine Cho, Donald Weilerstein, Itzhak Perlman, Lynn Chang, and Albert Markov.
