Dawid Kasprzak

He is a 20-year-old Polish violinist, soloist, and chamber musician currently studying at the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles in the class of Robert Lipsett. He is a 2025 Aspen Music Festival fellow and Second Prize winner of the Grumiaux International Violin Competition (2023). Following regular appearances at Colburn’s Performance Forum, he has been nominated to perform Karłowicz’s Violin Concerto with the Colburn Orchestra in the upcoming 2026/27 season.

He studied at Wells Cathedral School and was selected for the 2021 Menuhin Competition, later reaching the BBC Young Musician 2022 Category Finals. His performances include a recital at St John the Evangelist Church in London, solo appearances with the English Symphony Orchestra, and performances with orchestra at the Grand Theatre in Łódź. He has taken part in masterclasses with Midori Gotō and others.
