He began playing the violin at the age of six and was admitted to the Academy of Music in Ljubljana at 16 as an exceptionally gifted young violinist, studying under Professor Vasilij Meljnikov. He is currently completing his master’s degree at the Hanns Eisler Music School in Berlin in the class of Professor Byol Kang. His competition achievements include 2nd Prize at the International Valsesia Musica Competition (1st Prize not awarded), First Prize at the International Young Virtuosi Competition in Zagreb, and a Special Prize at the Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna.
As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras including the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra under Christine Larsen, the AG UL Symphony Orchestra under Felix Müldenberger, the SMO Youth Orchestra, the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, SNG Maribor, and the Vivaldi Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared at venues including the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, and the Slovenian Philharmonic in Ljubljana. His performance of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto earned him the honorary Prešeren Prize for Academic Achievement.
