Daniel Rafimayeri

Daniel Rafimayeri is an American violinist born and raised in New York City and a graduate of The Juilliard School. Recent solo engagements include performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, and the Kennedy Center, as well as new-music projects at the Consulate General of France in New York City and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

He won the Gold Medal and the Bach Prize at the Stulberg International String Competition, and became a laureate of the Washington International Competition for Strings, where he also received the Overall Audience Prize. Moreover, he has received the Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant and an NPR From the Top scholarship.

At Juilliard, he studied with Catherine Cho, Li Lin, and Ronald Copes. He is currently pursuing further studies under Tai Murray at the Yale School of Music.
