Born in 2007, she began her musical journey at the age of 3, when she
started studying the violin.
In 2026, she was a prizewinner as the youngest participant in the
Michael Hill International Violin Competition, as well as the
youngest prizewinner at the Stuttgart International Violin
Competition. She was awarded 1st prize at the Grumiaux
International Violin Competition, the top prize at the Zhuhai Mozart
International Competition, and 2nd prize at the Cooper International
Violin Competition. Additionally, she was the youngest
participant and prizewinner at both the International Classical Strings Competition and the
Karol Szymanowski & Heinrich Ernst International Violin Competition.
She has performed with various orchestras, including the Stuttgart
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the
Baden-Baden Philharmonic, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, and
ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
Julia-Xiaozhuo moved to Vienna at the age of 12 to continue her
studies. She has studied with Dora Schwarzberg and Boris Kuschnir at the
Universities of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and Graz, and is currently
studying with Ingolf Turban at the University of Music and Theater Munich.
