The goal of preliminary selection process is to select 40-45 candidates to be admitted to Stage One of the competition. Candidates shall be qualified for the competition subject to submission of relevant documents and a recording of the programme indicated by the organisers, which shall be judged by Preliminary Selection Jury headed by the Chairman of the Competition Jury, Augustin Dumay.

N. PAGANINI: two capriccios from Op. 1 except nos. 6, 13, 14 and 16.
2.
J. S. BACH:
Fugue from Sonata No. 1 in G Minor, BWV 1001
OR from Sonata No. 2 in A Minor, BWV 1003
OR from Sonata No. 3 in C Major, BWV 1005.
3.
L. VAN BEETHOVEN:
1st mov. from Sonata No. 1 in D Major, Op. 12
OR 1st mov. from Sonata No. 7 in C Minor, Op. 30
OR 1st mov. from Sonata No. 10 in G Major, Op. 96.
RECORDING
Unedited and uncut recording of quality not lower than HD must present the candidate filmed in frontal position at a maximum distance of 5 m.
Each of the listed above musical pieces must be recorded separately and transferred as four separate video files (MP4).
Competition organizers reserve the right to reject recordings which do not meet the above technical requirements.
Recordings edited and/or otherwise altered shall be obligatorily disqualified without the right to appeal.
PRELIMINARY SELECTION FEE
1.
Upon submission of application for the Competition, a candidate is obliged to transfer preliminary selection fee of 50 Euro to the bank account indicated by the Organiser, at the latest by 15 January 2022.
Payment should be annotated with NAME AND SURNAME of candidate in the description box.
2.
Upon receiving confirmation of qualification to participate in the Competition, a participant is obliged to transfer competition entrance fee of 150 Euro to the bank account indicated by the Organiser.
Entrance fee is non-refundable.
